ATLANTA, Ga. (January 22, 2020) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced a multi-year corporate partnership with Georgia Power, making it the official energy partner of the SIAC.

“The partnership with Georgia Power speaks to our significant fan and alumni support and underscores the important impact that SIAC institutions have on the communities in which they serve,” said SIAC Commissioner Gregory Moore. “We look forward to working with Georgia Power and are very appreciative of their support of the SIAC and our student-athletes.”

As the official energy partner of the SIAC, Georgia Power will activate through impactful community service efforts and messaging opportunities in connection with live events, digital, social, and video platforms. The agreement was consummated in consultation with Collegiate Sports Management Group.

“Georgia Power partners with organizations that place the same importance on serving our communities. The SIAC and college athletics as a whole do just that – that’s why we are proud to partner with and support the SIAC, its member schools, as well as its fans and alumni,” said Georgia Power SVP, Northwest Region Bentina Terry.
