NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), in conjunction with Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG), has formed a multi-year partnership with Sports Fan Nation, the conference office has announced.
“We are excited about our partnership with Sports Fan Nation and want to thank CSMG for their involvement in bringing Sports Fan Nation to the MEAC,” Commissioner Dr. Dennis Thomas said. “Engaging our fans, both at our institutions’ venues and on social media, will allow the MEAC to further grow and expand not only its brand, but the respective brands of our 11 outstanding institutions as well.”
As part of the agreement, Sports Fan Nation will provide a customized platform for the MEAC for the Celebration Bowl, the MEAC Basketball Tournament and the conference’s indoor and outdoor track & field championship meets.
“It is no surprise that the MEAC and their iconic and visionary Commissioner, Dr. Dennis Thomas, are again leading the way in marketing and media innovation benefitting their key constituents. Sports Fan Nation’s three proprietary fan engagement features – Talk Smack, Team Paint and Score – will have graphics, logos and colors tailored for the MEAC. Member schools will have the ability to opt in and receive additional benefits as provided for in the agreement.
