Milltown, NJ (December 30, 2019) – Neil Malvone, CEO of Cutting Edge Sports Management and the host of the HBCU-Dream Bowl Weekend, and Mr. David Mayer, Event Coordinator of CHARBOX are pleased to announce they have entered into a sponsorship agreement for this year’s all-star showcase scheduled for Dr. Martin Luther King Weekend.
The 4th annual HBCU Spirit of America Bowl will be played on January 19, 2020, in Salem, Virginia at Salem Stadium. The Spirit of America Bowl is the only HBCU college football all-star game in the country. In its first year, the HBCU Spirit of America Bowl saw Jylan Ware of Alabama State become a 7th round draft pick of the OaklandRaiders. Meanwhile, the 8th annual Dream Bowl will be played January 20, 2020. The Dream Bowl is the premier non-FBS college football all-star game in the nation. Multiple Dream Bowl players have been drafted and play in the NFL including Grambling WR Chester Rogers (Colts), and Central Arkansas CB Tremon Smith (Chiefs). The weekendallows the athletes to showcase their talents for the chance to play professionally with many NFL, CFL and XFL scouts in attendance. The games and events held during the weekend are a celebration of the excellence, commitment, and sacrifice made by the players and their families.
CHARBOX will be the Official Grill Partner of the HBCU-Dream Bowl Weekend with an in-game presentation and infomercial to take place at halftime during the national TV broadcasts on FloSports Network. CHARBOX reps will also offer product interaction with players and fans throughout the 5-day event, including activations at the host hotel, Holiday Inn-Tanglewood, both combines, banquets, and at the two bowl games. CHARBOX will also be the Presenting Sponsor for the Offensive Player MVP winner of the Dream Bowl and Spirit of America Bowl.
