Popular South Jersey snack company, Chank’s Grab-N-Go, has teamed up with the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for a partnership that will both add great value to the ECAC and drive Chank’s business as well as their rebranding effort through access to over 225 ECAC members and ECAC championship venues.
The collaboration sees the brand’s expansion in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, allowing Chank’s to reach all ECAC conference members. Having already established themselves in college sports, Chank’s can now expand marketing efforts to schools in smaller conferences and connect with college athletes with respect to the one thing that brings us all together: good food. “We’re happy to partner with Chank’s and help nourish their commitment to college sports,” said Dan Coonan, president/CEO of ECAC. “Emerging high-growth brands often have an urgency and passion for what they do, and that’s the kind of working relationship we want to nurture.”
Providing fuel for the field isn’t the only thing that Chank’s has its eyes set on with a new partnership with ECAC. The rapid growth of esports has the company looking at gamers to trade in their handheld remote controls for their delicious handheld snack cones when it’s game over and time to unplug. “We’re thrilled by the radical interest of esports sweeping the country and what it means for students and athletes at D1, D2, and D3 schools,” said Chank’s Founder, Eric Ciancaglini. “Partnering with ECAC is the perfect opportunity for us to grow as esports enters the arena of college sports.”
With major esports events such as the HV Gamer Con in Albany drawing mainstream interest in esports, there is unlimited new opportunity in growth and expansion for Chank’s to build its brand across all schools in the conference. “As our brand continues to evolve, this partnership marks an exciting new chapter in our sports marketing efforts,” said Ciancaglini. “Working with ECAC allows us to widen our reach in the Northeast and serve an interest we feel passionately about both personally and professionally in the realm of college sports.”
